Which is why I started trying vegan cheeses and plant based cheeses.
There are many cheese alternatives on the market and at your local grocery store, but I haven’t seen a Black owned one in a store near me. Yet.
Until then, fellow cheese lovers, here’s a list of Black owned vegan cheese brands that will ship to you in the U.S.:

1. Planted Foods
Founded by Ashley Kirk in 2018, Planted Foods’ product line includes a plant-based nacho sauce, veggie burgers, veggie breakfast patties and chickpea tuna.
