Must Try Matcha Desserts for Your Cafe Hopping Adventures
Sweet tooth or not, nothing’s better than your favorite dessert. And the average person has a few favorites. But do you have some go-to matcha desserts?
Matcha’s rise in popularity world wide doesn’t stop with lattes.
Matcha ice cream, crepe cakes, cheesecake, brownies – you name it, someone on Instagram or TikTok has posted a recipe for it.
But if you’re not much of a baker and/or you cannot seem to get your hands on a good green tea because of the matcha shortage, here’s a list of matcha desserts you can look for and try in your city.

Honestly, I didn’t really get into these kinds of desserts until I started cafe hopping in Japan.
I encourage you to visit your local bakeries, restaurants and ice cream shops to see what kinds of matcha desserts they have.
If they don’t have any, don’t be afraid to ask. If enough customers ask, then they’ll definitely consider putting these sweets on their menu.
