Pro Food Maker
You need more than inspiration to build a food business. Welcome to Pro Food Maker, the platform that showcases Black food entrepreneurs and their stories, with the specific goal of teaching food entrepreneurs how to build profitable food brands.
You’ll hear from Black entrepreneurs and professionals in the food industry on how they launch and scale a food business and food career, based on the resources, tips, and strategies they have learned and experienced.
There are also opportunities for you to explore the different types of careers you can have in the food industry, besides being a chef or restaurant owner. Guests have included:

The Creator
Mercedes Gosby, is a technologist, business strategist, & world traveler. She coaches tech entrepreneurs on how to scale their businesses by uncovering and exceeding the needs of their customers.
Since cooking for her family as a teen, Mercedes has had an interest in food, and by the time she graduated college, she figured that she would start a food business. As a proud information gatherer, Mercedes wanted to learn as much as possible about food entrepreneurship before she started her own. Pro Food Maker is the space where Mercedes shares the knowledge you need about food entrepreneurship.
